Kremlin Comments on Ongoing U.S. Weapons Deliveries to Ukraine

MOSCOW (Reuters) – The Kremlin addressed U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent mention of supplying Patriot air defense missiles to Ukraine by reaffirming that American arms and ammunition shipments to Kyiv have been continuous and are ongoing.

Trump did not specify the quantity of Patriots earmarked for Ukraine but assured reimbursement by the European Union for their expenses.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov acknowledged that the burden of funding these supplies might be divided between Europe and the U.S.

Despite Trump’s muted details, the flow of weapons, ammunition, and military gear from the U.S. to Ukraine persists.

In a significant shift, Trump is set to unveil a revised strategy to arm Ukraine with offensive weapons, Axios reported.

Reacting to delayed peace talks, Peskov noted Kyiv’s pace, emphasizing Russia’s readiness for negotiations and awaiting Ukraine’s scheduling clarity.
