Washington State Patrol reported attempting to pull over a driver speeding at over 130 miles per hour on Friday; however, the driver managed to proceed unimpeded. The driver was first sighted driving westbound on I-90 across the floating bridge. Due to safety concerns, the troopers refrained from pursuing the vehicle, eventually locating it on the Rainier Avenue ramp shortly afterward. Unfortunately, the driver’s car broke through the barrier, ending up on the South Rainier to eastbound I-90 ramp. Despite this dramatic crash, the driver miraculously escaped with minor injuries. Law enforcement detained the driver on charges of eluding, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment.
